Supreme Court updates COVID arrangements

The UK Supreme Court (UKSC) has updated its arrangements during the COVID-19 pandemic. This update confirms that all hearings and judgments during the Michaelmas term (1 October to 21 December 2020) will be conducted virtually, via Webex video conferencing. The public can watch proceedings live and on demand via the UKSC website. Access to the UKSC building is restricted for external visitors from 28 September 2020. From 1 October 2020, the Registry will be open "remotely" on weekdays from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm. The UKSC has also updated its Practice Note to reflect these arrangements: https://www.supremecourt.uk/docs/covid-practice-note.pdf

As a result of the pandemic, we have made changes to some of the ways that we work to take account of government guidance and requirements. We remain a fully functioning court, delivering the administration of justice and rule of law.
