About Me

I am a private client solicitor and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I work with high-net-worth clients on estate planning. I also deal with administration of complex estates, often with multi-jurisdictional elements.

My estate planning client base is broad, including entrepreneurs and high-net-worth individuals from the property and entertainment industries. My focus is on assisting my clients to develop and implement tax efficient succession planning strategies. This often involves coordinating a number of elements, including tax efficient lifetime giving, the creation and use of trusts as a vehicle for longer term succession planning, and the preparation of tax efficient Wills. In the event of a death I work closely with families on post-death tax planning.

Another part of my practice involves acting on the administration of multi-million pound estates, which typically cover multiple jurisdictions. I am often appointed as the lead lawyer in multi-jurisdiction estates, coordinating with lawyers and professionals in other countries to make the administration of the estate a seamless and streamlined experience for my clients.

I also manage a number of family trusts, as well as providing standalone advice and assistance to trustees. I advise trustees on a range of issues, including the proper exercise of trustees' duties and powers, the simplification of complex trust structures, tax mitigation opportunities and the orderly termination of trusts.
